Have you ever wondered about the real idea of Hiro's new movie? What's meaning of "Ronin"? ok! I had the same questions until I made my own research to get you all these information about the real the story.
I would like to share it with you. Hope you like it!
Here we go!
"Ronin" means a samurai with no lord or master and it was called like that during the feudal period (1185–1868) of Japan. A samurai became masterless from the death or fall of his master.
I myself never knew that "Ronin" means.

Portrait painting of Ōishi Yoshio (Hiro's Character) |
He served Asano Naganori as the head chamberlain for the Asano estate, supervising the daily running of the castle and the samurai.
He, with 46 other ronin, attacked Kira at his residence. Kira was killed and decapitated. After Ōishi dispatched Terasaka Kichiemon to inform Asano's widow Yōzeiin of the deed, he and the remaining 45 ronin went to Sengaku-ji in Shinagawa where Naganori was buried and there they were arrested.
He and the other ronin were sentenced to commit seppuku. Since it was an honorable sentence rather than merely decapitation, everyone accepted this sentence as an honor.
